The Yoga Forest is a secluded eco-retreat nestled in the lush hills above San Marcos La Laguna, offering a transformative experience for those seeking connection with nature, themselves, and a conscious community. This permaculture farm and yoga center provides a sanctuary for personal growth, healing, and sustainable living. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Guatemalan highlands, surrounded by breathtaking views of Lake Atitlán and its majestic volcanoes. The Yoga Forest is more than just a retreat center; it's a living example of sustainable practices and mindful living. Founded with a vision of creating a harmonious relationship between humans and the environment, the farm utilizes permaculture principles to grow organic food, conserve water, and minimize its impact on the surrounding ecosystem. The retreat fosters a sense of community, encouraging guests to participate in daily activities, share meals, and connect with like-minded individuals. At The Yoga Forest, you can participate in daily yoga and meditation classes, workshops on permaculture and sustainable living, and guided hikes through the surrounding jungle. Enjoy delicious vegetarian meals prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Relax in a hammock, read a book, or simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere. The Yoga Forest also offers opportunities for volunteering and longer-term stays, allowing you to deepen your connection with the land and the community. While not a culinary destination in the traditional sense, the focus on fresh, organic, vegetarian food grown on-site provides a unique and nourishing culinary experience.
